#OspolyDecides2026: ‘Answer the Questions’ — Group Fires Back at Team Revolution Over OGM Allegations

A group identifying itself as Concerned Students for Integrity has challenged the response issued by Team Revolution over allegations surrounding its presidential candidate, Ogunmodede Oluwatobiloba Olanrewaju, popularly known as OGM, less than 24 hours before the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, SUG election.

The group, in a statement titled “A Watered Response to a Grave Allegation,” criticised a memorandum signed by Ilori Stephen Damilola, popularly known as Analog, Director-General of Team Revolution, which described the allegations against OGM as “false and unsubstantiated.”

Concerned Students for Integrity argued that the memorandum did not directly address the questions surrounding the allegations and called on OGM to personally respond to the issues.

The group particularly questioned whether there had ever been a dispute involving a missing phone and why OGM had not personally addressed the matter.

It also questioned why the campaign's Director-General had responded on behalf of the candidate.

«“Until OGM himself comes out to clear his name with evidence and not through a proxy memo, the students will continue to ask questions,” the group stated.»

The group said its concerns were about accountability and the character of a candidate seeking to lead the student union, while maintaining that it was not attacking any individual.

What Team Revolution said

The response followed a September 17 petition submitted to the Dean of Students’ Affairs, the SUG Electoral Committee and the Chief Security Officer of the Polytechnic by a group identifying itself as concerned students.

The petition called for an investigation and character verification of OGM, raising allegations concerning phone transactions and an alleged pending police matter.

Team Revolution subsequently rejected the allegations, describing them as “false and unsubstantiated” and urging students to verify information before accepting or sharing it.

The campaign team also alleged that some individuals it identified as opposition supporters had been moving from house to house and circulating claims that OGM was a thief and had been involved in stealing a phone.


Allegations yet to be independently established

The competing statements have now added another layer to the final hours of campaigning for the OSPOLY SUG presidential election scheduled for Saturday, September 19.

The Creativity Site has not independently verified the allegations contained in the petition, nor the counter-claims made by the competing campaign groups.

The petition does not constitute a finding of guilt, while Team Revolution's denial does not by itself establish the truth or falsity of the underlying allegations.

OGM has not personally responded in the materials reviewed by The Creativity Site.

The development comes as OSPOLY students prepare to decide between OGM and his presidential opponent, Comr. Oyediran Abdullateef Olawale, popularly known as MUSLAT, in Saturday's election.
