#OspolyDecides2026: ISEC Vice Chairman Responds to Complaints Over Voting Access

The Vice Chairman of the Independent Students Electoral Commission (ISEC), Hon. Comrade Amusan A.A., has responded to concerns raised by some students over difficulties accessing the online voting portal during the ongoing SUG election.


In a message sent to The Creativity Site, the ISEC Vice Chairman urged students to disregard what he described as wrong information concerning the voting process.


«“Please, I beg you, stop spreading wrong information,” he said.»


According to Amusan, the election is proceeding according to the commission’s plan, while the reported glitches are linked to traffic on the voting portal.

"The election is flowing according to our plan and any glitch is due to traffic on the portal,” he explained.»


The ISEC Vice Chairman further assured students that all eligible voters would be allowed to participate in the election.


«“All eligible voters would vote. That I promise you,” he added.»


His response comes after some students and alumni raised concerns over reported difficulties accessing the voting portal, including claims of restrictions and error messages encountered while attempting to vote.


The election remains ongoing as students continue to cast their votes.
