#OspolyDecides2026: ISEC Announces September 19 Date for Online SUG Election

The Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC) has announced that the 2026 student elections of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, will hold online on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:00am to 3:00pm.


The commission made this known in an official memorandum dated September 16, 2026, addressed to the entire student populace.


According to the notice, accreditation and voting will commence at exactly 8:00am, while voting will close at 3:00pm. Students will participate through the school portal.


ISEC urged all accredited students to exercise their civic right within the stipulated period, stressing the importance of prompt participation.

The commission also called on students to maintain discipline, peace and cooperation throughout the electoral process.


“Your active and peaceful participation is vital to sustaining democratic integrity across our community,” the commission said in the memorandum.


The notice was e-signed by Adeniyi Adekunle Rapheal, Chairman of ISEC, and Shittu Faruq, General Secretary.


It was disseminated by Olayinka Victoria Pelumi, the commission’s Public Relations Officer.
