The Imole Campaign Council has called on security agencies to intervene over what it described as alleged voter intimidation involving Senator Francis Fadahunsi during the ongoing Osun State governorship election.
In a statement issued on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and signed by its spokesman, Pelumi Olajengbesi, the council alleged that Fadahunsi, who represents Osun East Senatorial District, was seen and heard instructing All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters at his polling unit to monitor voters’ choices.
According to the statement, the incident occurred at Polling Unit 1, NUD Primary School, Collation Centre, in Ilase-Ijesa.
The council further alleged that the senator instructed his followers to take action against voters who did not support the APC.

The Imole Campaign Council described the alleged conduct as “scandalous, unacceptable and undemocratic”, urging security agencies to immediately intervene.
“The security agencies must immediately stop the voter intimidation by Fadahunsi and his foot soldiers,” the statement said.
The council also criticised what it described as the senator’s previous conduct, suggesting that the latest allegation indicated that he had not learnt from an earlier incident.
“One would have thought that he had learnt his lessons with his last despicable out but alas! A leopard never changes its spot!” the statement added.
The statement was issued in Osogbo, today as voting continued in the Osun governorship election.
