#OspolyDecides2026: OSPOLY ISEC Slashes SRC Nomination Form Fee to ₦5,000, Sets September 8 Deadline

The Independent Student Electoral Commission (ISEC) of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has reduced the nomination form fee for aspirants seeking election into the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) from ₦10,000 to ₦5,000.


The commission announced the reduction in an official memorandum dated September 5, 2026, signed by its Chairman, Adeniyi Adekunle Raphael, and General Secretary, Shittu Faruq.


The new fee replaces the ₦10,000 price earlier announced by ISEC on September 2 for the SRC position alongside other elective offices.


Under the earlier fee structure, presidential aspirants were to pay ₦20,000 for nomination forms, while the Vice President, Public Relations Officer, General Secretary and Sports Director positions were pegged at ₦15,000 each.

The Assistant General Secretary, Auditor, Financial Secretary, Director of Socials, Treasurer, Welfare Director and SRC Member positions were listed at ₦10,000 each.


With the latest adjustment, however, only the SRC nomination form fee has been reduced to ₦5,000.


ISEC said payment and collection of the nomination form must be completed by September 8, while the deadline for submission of completed forms is September 9, 2026.


The commission advised interested SRC aspirants to visit the SUG Building to obtain their forms before the deadlines.


It also warned that aspirants who fail to obtain and submit their forms within the stipulated period would not be considered eligible candidates.

The latest memorandum was disseminated by ISEC Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Victoria Pelumi.
