Women’s Anniversary: Christ Soul Winners Church Urges Members to Remain Firm in Faith, Good Conduct

Members of Christ Soul Winners Church, Koboro, have been urged to remain steadfast in their faith and maintain good conduct in society as the church held the second edition of its Women Anniversary.


The event, held at the church along Onigbedu Road, Itori, Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, featured spiritual teachings, health discussions and a drama presentation addressing faith and human relationships.


The invited speaker, Pastor Mrs. Victoria Adeagbo, spoke on the importance of the grace to stand, saying it is key to remaining firm in the Christian faith and benefiting from God.


A drama presentation at the programme also focused on the importance of good behaviour towards others.


The presentation showed how a person's conduct and relationship with people can become important when such a person later needs help.

It also encouraged Christians not to stop worshipping God because of unpleasant experiences or situations, stressing the need for believers to remain close to God as His children.


The programme also featured discussions on cancer and breast health.


Mrs. Bolaji spoke about cancer, attributing its occurrence to what she described as exposure to dirty environments and referring to what she said were findings from verified medical research.


Miss Deborah Awe, a Medical Laboratory Science student of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), also spoke about household and environmental conditions, mentioning decaying food substances and smells from plank roofs in her discussion of possible health risks.


Another speaker, Mrs. Dupe Awe, encouraged women to pay attention to their breast health and made a recommendation concerning breast pressing as a means of preventing breast cancer.

The programme marked the second edition of the Women Anniversary of Christ Soul Winners Church and brought together men, women and other members of the congregation.


The Creativity Site served as the media partner for the event, providing coverage of the anniversary.
