The Forecast Campaign Team has unveiled its manifesto and strategic roadmap ahead of the June 20, 2026, gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, outlining what it described as a three-tier agenda focused on continuity in governance, grassroots development, and support for the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti and signed by the Director General of the campaign team, Seun Akinyele, the organization said it was mobilizing supporters across the state to secure what it described as a decisive electoral victory in the forthcoming poll.

According to the statement, the campaign's agenda is built around support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's national development policies, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji's administration in Ekiti State, and the legislative and community development initiatives associated with former Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Richard Olufemi Bamisile, popularly known as BAFEM.

The campaign team said its first focus area, tagged "PBAT 2027," aligns with 2the Renewed Hope agenda of President Tinubu, which it claimed has driven economic reforms and infrastructure development across the country.

It argued that the outcome of the June 20 election would serve as an indication of grassroots support for the ruling party and its leadership ahead of future electoral contests.

On the state level, the group's second agenda, "BAO Till 2030," seeks continued support for Governor Oyebanji's administration, which the campaign described as inclusive and development-oriented.

The statement praised the governor's efforts in infrastructure, security, and governance, urging residents, artisans, transport workers, and youths to participate actively in the election.

The campaign team's third agenda, "BAFEM Season 3," focuses on grassroots infrastructure and community development. The statement highlighted a solar electrification project reportedly worth ₦460 million across communities in Emure, Gbonyin, and Ekiti East local government areas, describing it as a model for broader community development and improved security.

Akinyele, in the statement, said leadership should be measured by its impact on communities and the quality of life of citizens.

"On June 20th, we are not just casting votes; we are choosing the continuity of light over darkness, peace over instability, and performance over promises," he said.

The campaign team maintained that its proposed agenda would strengthen development efforts in Ekiti State while supporting broader national objectives.
