From Conference to Calling: CPC Charges Women to Build Homes, Lead Change Nationwide

Participants' Jubilation

By Victor Olubiye

The 26 Annual National Sisters Conference of Calvary Pentecostal Church International (CPC) ended with a strong charge to women across Nigeria: move from inspiration to action and become builders of homes, faith, and society.

Held from Thursday, May 30, the multi-day gathering brought together women from across the country for an intensive programme of teachings, workshops, lectures, and prayer sessions focused on spiritual growth and practical impact.

At the centre of the conversations was a clear message being “The Chosen Woman” goes beyond attending a conference; it demands obedience and application.

National Sisters President, Mrs Alaka, set the tone by commending the leadership of Rev. Dr. Johnson Niyi Faboyede and Pastor Sarah Faboyede for their guidance and commitment to raising purposeful women. She described the chosen woman as one who not only receives but applies, urging participants to become transformative forces in their homes and communities.

She emphasised that women must take their place as builders intentional about nurturing families, strengthening values, and influencing society positively.

Reinforcing this call, Rev. Dr. Johnson Niyi Faboyede gave the women a 90 percent performance rating, applauding the excellence recorded in message delivery, seminars, and overall coordination. Beyond commendation, he challenged them to sustain the momentum by remaining faithful in key areas of Christian life, including tithing, service, and active support for women-focused church projects.

The conference also drew the presence of notable church leaders, including Lagos State District Overseer, Rev. Alabi, and National Brothers President, Rev. Akingboju, underscoring the significance of the gathering within the church community.

In his closing charge, Rev. Christopher urged the women to go beyond words and embody the values they have received, stressing that they must be true models in both character and conduct.

As the conference came to a close, the message remained clear: the impact of the gathering will not be measured by attendance, but by the transformation women carry into their homes, churches, and the wider society.

For many participants, the event was not just a spiritual meeting, but a call to live deliberately as women chosen to build, lead, and transform.
